Registraduria

In Colombia, data validation, particularly of personal identification details, can be conducted against the databases maintained by the Registraduría Nacional del Estado Civil. This entity is responsible for the civil registration of all Colombian citizens but also foreigners since Cédula de Ciudadanía (national ID card) and Cédula de Extranjería (identification document issued in Colombia to foreigners who are residing in the country on a temporary or permanent basis).
